This is a picture of the wardrobe, or rather what's left of it when the area was cleared. You can see an air duct that feeds air to the living room at the upper left corner.
You can see a few pieces of plank covering an area at the top.
This is what was covered behind the planks. A duct spanning the whole height of the house. You can see the floors of the other appartments above where they have been cut through.
An impressive amount of dust and trash dropped down the duct when I opened it up, down on me of course..
This is a part of an old floor that turned up when working my way down the layers of floor boards. Beautifull old wide floor boards, but this was only the corner of a former room covering the larger part of my appartment. The boards were cut up some time in the past, pity!
