Crete

In the end of October 2002 I was in between jobs for a week. Vanny and I decided to go for a last minute trip to Crete, Greece.

We ended up in the town Rethymno on the northern coast. Not a bad place to use as a base for exploring Crete.

We were lucky with the weather, even if this is really the end of the season. We had 25 degree celsius days with clear skies.

We rented a small car and explored quite a bit of the island during four days. The rest of the time we just bummed around town eating and relaxing. Not a bad place at all.
